Sam Lassoff
Executive Coach | Performance Coach
Sam Lassoff is an Executive Coach who works with leaders and emerging professionals at moments when complexity increases, decisions carry more weight, and the quality of judgment matters.

Sam’s background spans people and talent strategy, organizational strategy, and leadership advisory across private equity, venture capital, professional services, financial services, and high-growth technology. She began her career in executive search and people analytics and went on to hold leadership roles at Gartner, Heidrick & Struggles, Human Capital, and Blackstone, working closely with leaders on complex questions of judgment, talent, and how organizations actually function.

Throughout her career, coaching has been a natural extension of this work. At every stage of a career, the quality of judgment determines how well complexity, responsibility, and ambition are held.
Sam received formal coaching certification through Brown University’s Leadership and Performance Coaching program and is an International Coaching Federation (ICF)–credentialed coach. Her approach integrates human judgment with analytical rigor, drawing on talent intelligence, data, and applied technology alongside reflective inquiry.

Through her work with IluminaLab, Sam partners with executives navigating moments of scale and inflection, as well as early-career professionals building the foundations of their careers. Clients come to her seeking clarity that holds under pressure, alignment between intention and action, and a way of leading and working that remains effective and meaningful across the arc of their careers.
